Who We Are

Foundation:
In 1953 J.W. “Chad” Hanna began building new homes in Tyler. Growing up in a home where his father worked as a carpenter all over East Texas gave him an appreciation for quality work and honest treatment of both craftsman and client.

Growth:
By 1976 the company had grown and incorporated as Chad Hanna, Inc., becoming one of Tyler’s premium custom home builders. That year Chad T. Hanna joined his father in the business. Together they continue the tradition of bringing quality homes to the people of East Texas, along with the newest addition to their team, coming aboard in 2013, and fourth generation — James Chad Hanna.

Philosophy:
At Chad Hanna, Inc. we believe that the customer comes first. Our job is to give you the home you want with the highest quality available at the best value possible. We have long embraced environmentally friendly methods and welcome the new innovations in lessening our impact on the world around us.

Services:
In addition to actual construction, we offer consultation from the purchase of the lot that will best suit your building needs, to developing plans, to design insight — guiding our customers through the selection process of the many intricate elements that go into the finished product. We are experienced and qualified to assist you with every aspect of your home design if needed. The opportunity to work with the customer’s architect and/or designer is likewise always welcome.

We are a full service Real Estate office. We offer complete Listing and Buyer Representative services, making sure your current home is ready to be marketed, as well as offering experienced design and remodeling consultation on your new home or prospective buys. We'll make your transition into a new Chad Hanna Home — or any home — as smooth as possible.

Development:
Over the years we have brought several traditional and zero-lot-line neighborhoods to Tyler. A few include Rosemont, Manor Place, Woodbridge and Chaddick Place along with Brookside Park and Green Acres Park. We are proud to have been instrumental in the growth of our hometown over the last six decades and beyond.
